The exhibition “Stročycki skarbiec” opens at the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle on the 9th of December 2016 at 15:00 (3 pm) and showcases a room of a collector. The exhibition opening is held on the day when the museum was founded and is dedicated to its 40th anniversary.

The exhibition brings together rarities (dishware, books, minerals and etc.) found during excavations held on the territory of the museum, near the river Mienka and in the village Pryluki. The key figure connected with the exhibition is Kazimir Držnievič who was the owner of the manor in Stročycy village and had a lot of various collections.
The exhibits represented here are taken from the repositories of thee Belarusian museums: Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle, Museum of Nature and Ecology and Museum of Old Belarusian Culture of the Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the National Academy of Science.
