The Museum embraces 32 collections estimating more than 17800 museum objects and more than 8000 scientific-auxiliary materials. The folk architectural objects constitute the major part of the museum collection. There are more than 25 unique items of wooden folk architecture represented in the museum exposition zones

Many years of expedition trips to different Belarusian regions are resulted in the extensive museum collection. The Museum Collections comprise traditional tools, agricultural machinery, household items, Belarusian folk dresses, folk art, books, documents, and other historic objects. In general, the museum collections are very diverse. Due to the Museum Collections the modern generation is exposed to the life of ancestors, folk traditions and unique features of the Belarusian folk culture.
