General Service Department is a supportive structural unit in the museum. It provides total building maintenance and repair service and is in charge of electrical equipment. Moreover its staff looks after the museum territory, keeps it clean and well-groomed. Museum caretakers clean outdoor and indoor areas, specially equipped recreation zones for visitors, utility rooms and exhibition zones. The department staff is also in charge of mowing and haymaking, cleaning up the exhibition from snow and rubbish, chopping firewood, taking care of the horse and maintaining museum equipment (MTZ-80, motor cultivator and etc.). General Service Department helps in organizing numerous events held in the museum and do its best in making visitors feel comfortable and truly welcome.
