Pilipovka is the name given to fasting on the eve of Christmas. From that time on, the village girls began to actively work together. Spinning, embroidery, warping threads, weaving are an incomplete list of the main women's activities in the autumn-winter period. It was more fun to work when we told each other fairy tales, legends, stories, and sang songs.

The men also had a lot of work to do on the farm - threshing and winnowing grain, repairing agricultural equipment. Once the main work was done, it was possible to visit the girls, tease them and notice their future wife.

We invite you to take part in the traditional “Vyachorki” on the territory of the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life!

Ticket prices:

• for adults – 10.50 rubles;
• students of higher education institutions (student card) – 5.50 rubles;
• for schoolchildren, students of vocational and secondary specialized educational institutions – 5.50 rubles;
• for preschool children – free.

The museum exposition is open from 10:00 to 17:00. The ticket office is open from 10:00 to 16:30.

• There is no ATM on the territory of the museum. To purchase souvenirs from artisans, you must have cash with you.
