On June 24, 2025, a temporary exhibition "Belarusian Folk Icons" was ceremoniously opened in the Ivye Museum of National Cultures. The exhibition displays part of the collection of folk icons from the funds of the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.

The opening of the event began with an artistic performance by employees of the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life Ya.S.Potapenko and V.Kh.Berberov. The director of the Ivye Museum of National Cultures A.V.Viktorova and the deputy director of the BGMNAiB E.I.Mikula addressed the guests of the museum with a welcoming speech. The head of the scientific and exhibition department of the BGMNAiB I.V.Ivanov made a detailed speech on the topic of the exhibition and the museum items presented at it. The exhibition was greeted with interest and goodwill by the local public, and the speakers were asked numerous questions during its opening. The cooperation of the Belarusian State Museum of History and Biology with regional museums received a second tangible boost this year after the opening of the exhibition “Asilki Zemli Belarusiana” in February 2025 in the city of Gorki.
