St. George's Day is a holiday in honor of the patron saint of animals, animal husbandry and agriculture.
It was believed among the people that Saint Yuri opens the earth with golden keys and releases dew. From that day on, all living things begin to grow with special force. The miraculous St. George's dew provided the owners with wealth: "Kali budze rasa - hope for the horses of Aўsa."
On this day, for the first time, the owners drove the herd into the field, made ritual detours of their fields, danced round dances to protect themselves from fires and thunderstorms.
Join our holiday to take part in the rituals in honor of St. George together!
