From June 22, in the architectural monument “School from the village of Kolodchino, Vileika district”, it will be possible to get acquainted with the temporary exposition “June 22: the fate of a person is the fate of the country”. The exhibition presents photographs, documents and personal belongings of war veteran Timofey Grigoryevich Buev. Looking at these objects, you will be able to see firsthand the life story of an individual who survived the war by personal example.
Buyev Timofey Grigoryevich was born in 1909 in the village of Strazhevo, Dubrovno district, Vitebsk region. In 1931 he was drafted into the Red Army and sent to the school of medical instructors. In 1934-1935. studied at the school of military assistants to doctors in Leningrad. Until September 1939 he served as a paramedic of the 10th tank brigade in Borisov. On the eve of the war, he served in the city of Kaunas, where he lived with his wife Nadezhda Timofeevna, daughter Vera and son Gennady. From 1941 to 1945 Timofey Grigoryevich - a participant in the Great Patriotic War, during which he served in the military sorting evacuation hospital No. 290 of the Western and 3rd Belorussian fronts ..
For participation in the Great Patriotic War, Timofey Grigorievich was awarded the Orders of the Red Star, the Red Banner, the medals For the Defense of Moscow, For Military Merit, and For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. and other awards.
After the end of the war he served in the BSSR, Poland. In December 1955, Timofei Grigorievich retired from the reserve due to seniority and the reduction of the Soviet army with the rank of major. After his dismissal, he did not give up medicine, continuing to work first at the sanitary and epidemiological station of the Frunzensky district of Minsk, and later at the Mingorkozhvendispanser, the medical unit of the motor and bicycle plant in Minsk.
