IX Annual Folk Festival «Kamianica»
The event is sponsored by Open Joint Stock Company «Bank BelVEB».
Folk festival «Kamianica» was first held in 2009. It is an event for all who are interested in Belarusian folk culture, ancient traditions and their modern interpretations.

«?ani?ba komina»

«?ani?ba komina» is a sacral ritual connected with fire worship. Word by word translation of this ritual is “Chimney’s marriage”. People prepare “Bridegroom” for marriage: whitewash “him”, decorate with verdure and flowers, colourful ribbons and embroidered towels. Who is the bride? Some say that it’s “house” or “stove”, others that it’s “hard work during long winter evenings”.
