The exhibition is open from July 3, 2023
Light conquers darkness, and the love of life overcomes death. The shells that killed and maimed people, and the bullets with which the entire Belarusian land was generously littered, served the peasant in his daily worries in peacetime: a grenade - as a counterweight for scales, a blank from a projectile - with a hammer, a cartridge case - a lighter in his pocket. Deadly iron was forged into tools, soldier's military utensils took their place on the kitchen shelf.
By the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and on the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Minsk from Nazi invaders, we invite you to visit the exhibition “Fragments of War”, where you will see household items and tools converted from ammunition and soldier equipment.
