On September 15, as part of events dedicated to the Day of National Unity, between the institution “Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life” and the state institution “Belarusian Agricultural Library named after. I.S. Lupinovich" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed.

In accordance with the terms of the Memorandum, the parties express interest in conducting joint scientific research; intend to cooperate in organizing and holding conferences, seminars, and other scientific and scientific-practical events dedicated to the development of agriculture, popularization and implementation of agricultural knowledge and the history of agricultural science; expect to exchange rare and valuable information from their funds; express interest in organizing joint exhibitions and other socio-cultural and educational events; intend to provide mutual information support for the events they organize; expect to coordinate their activities for joint participation in events held by other organizers.

The document being signed is intended to establish a long-term mutually beneficial partnership between the two institutions. Formalized cooperation between organizations that are part of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus will contribute to the consolidation of activities in order to solve common problems - preserving the ethnocultural heritage of peasant history on Belarusian lands, researching issues of agrarian history, promoting interest in the everyday life of the Belarusian people.

The event will take place on the territory of the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life on September 15, 2023 at 11.00.
