Bagach is an ancient harvest festival dedicated to the autumn equinox.

Every caring owner strove to complete the harvesting of all crops from the fields and gardens. After this, the sowing of winter crops began, so the people said: “Bagach - throw the ragach, take this little one and this little one.”

One of the most solemn and culminating moments of the holiday is going around the courtyards, aimed at the prosperity and well-being of the entire rural community. From each yard, the owners brought a handful of grain and poured it into a common splint - “rich man”. This “rich man” personified the wealth and harvest of the inhabitants of the entire village.
